I’d say a mix of both.
I originally started just wanting to learn how to play properly and not feel lost at the table, but the more I play, the more I realize I also enjoy the social side of it.
At the same time, I do want to get better at understanding what I’m doing — especially with things like knowing what to discard and how to build a hand more confidently.
So for 2026, probably a balance of improving my strategy while also finding more opportunities to play with others.
