Amy, totally normal. That takes time. A quick way to think about it is: the AI usually calls a discard “bad” because it limits your options or helps someone else. As you see more hands, those reasons start to feel more obvious. And anytime it doesn’t make sense, just ask — happy to explain it simply.
Early on, I usually break one pair. Keeping three pairs often slows your hand down unless one of them has clear value or fits a plan. I look for the weakest pair first — usually an unvalued honor or an isolated 1 or 9 — and let that go to build better shape and keep the hand moving. Hope this helps.
