Spend an enjoyable evening at Little Green A Plant Bar learning Mahjong in a relaxed, plant-filled setting. In this 2½-hour hands-on class, you’ll learn the foundations and fundamentals of Mahjong, including how the game flows, essential strategies, the different ways to claim tiles, and how to build a winning hand. You’ll then put your new skills into practice by playing a real game with step-by-step guidance from an experienced instructor. No prior experience needed!

This class is designed for adults who are curious about Mahjong but don’t know where to begin. You don’t need to bring a group of four, and you don’t need to buy a set. The goal is to make your first game approachable and enjoyable, not to rush you through complicated strategy.

Every Wednesday covers the same beginner material, so pick whichever fits your calendar. Your $129 covers the one date you select — this is a standalone class, not a five-week course, and registering for one date doesn’t commit you to the others.

Minimum class size
We need 8 registrations to run a class. If your date doesn’t reach 8, everyone registered is moved to the next scheduled Wednesday — your seat isn’t lost.

Advance online registration is required. We can’t accept walk-ins, since sets, materials and table space are prepared for registered guests.
