Hope you had a Merry Christmas! We are always excited to see more people appreciating Mahjong not just as a game, but as part of a lifestyle and a way to connect. W’d love to hear where you’re at right now.
When it comes to Mahjong, what are you mostly looking for in 2026?
- Meeting people to play with and feeling part of a community
- Really improving strategy and decision-making
- A mix of both
- Not totally sure yet

I’d say a mix of both.
I originally started just wanting to learn how to play properly and not feel lost at the table, but the more I play, the more I realize I also enjoy the social side of it.
At the same time, I do want to get better at understanding what I’m doing — especially with things like knowing what to discard and how to build a hand more confidently.
So for 2026, probably a balance of improving my strategy while also finding more opportunities to play with others.
